Statement from Paul Overbaugh – NYSED State Director (5/07/20)

“In response to the COVID-19 emergency, the Governor has issued a number of Executive Orders intended to protect the health and safety of New Yorkers.   In addition, the Board of Regents has postponed regulatory timelines for qualification and compliance of transportation professionals until further notice.   Employers who wish to continue in-person trainings despite these directives may wish to consult with their attorneys and insurers before doing so. “
