Hardship Applications

Hardship applications have closed. All applications have been sent to NYSED. As soon as we hear back, we will be in touch with each applicant.

If approved, a hardship assignment will be emailed, along with your 2026 NYSED PDS Pre-session Assignment.

If a hardship was denied, a suspension assignment is offered (assignment and pre-session assignment will be due)

SBDI’s who didn’t attend a PDS, regardless of hardship request, will be given the opportunity to complete a suspension assignment. Emails are being sent the week of June 8th, 2026.

All assignments are due June 26, 2026.
