Certified Examiner Refresher (19-A) – IN PERSON CLASS

Certified Examiners are required to attend a New York State DMV-approved CE Refresher at least once every three years to maintain certification. PTSI has been offering Refresher Seminars since 1996 – before 1998 regulations required attendance.

Since Refresher topics change annually, attending each year enables CEs to keep up with changes in regulations and learn and share ideas and concerns. In addition, the Refreshers provide an opportunity for networking in what many times is an isolated position. The refresher provides a great opportunity to interact with CEs in your geographical area from all modes of passenger transportation. Anyone can attend the CE Refresher, certification is not required. As a matter of fact, PTSI strongly encourages Motor Carriers to send other employees, such as the person responsible for filing 19-A paperwork, for example.
